Isabella (Bella) Canovas is an avid naturalist, outdoorswoman, people leader and artist. Through over ten years of experience in a wide range of specialties including animal care, outdoor recreation, nature center management, and environmental education, Bella has gained a unique perspective into the environmental field. She is focused on strengthening the link between people and their local environment through human-wildlife conflict mitigation, experiential education, exhibit curation, and advocacy. Bella's steadfast passion for nature education in Virginia shines through her desire to connect, educate, and inspire educators and animal keepers across the Commonwealth through her commitment to networking, collaborative projects, and the sharing of information.
