Organization Overview
Explore Nature By Nurture, LLC, helps schools and public agencies build the human capacity to use the outdoor spaces they already have. Most organizations already own the land. What's missing is a plan, the people to run it, and a welcome designed for someone who has never been there before.
We work with the adults — the coordinators, staff, and volunteer leaders who are asked to steward outdoor space without the training, structure, or authority to do it well. That work includes volunteer program design, roadmaps and protocols, training, and the documentation that lets a program outlive the person running it, and lets a leader pivot when conditions change.
Based in Lynchburg, Virginia, serving parks and recreation agencies and K-12 school districts.
